Durham Innovation District
Measurement Durham LLC is partnering with Longfellow Real Estate Partners, and in collaboration with Duke University, to develop 1.7 million sf of flexible workspaces, cutting-edge lab space, retail amenities and residential opportunities. The will enchance the city's existing cross disciplinary collaborations by creating a distinct space for people from all walks of life -- all master-planned to work with the existing historic context, leveraging Durham's unique identity.
Acquisitions:
Durham Brazing and Welding (328 Roney Street)
328-332 Roney Street is the former Durham Brazing and Welding building. In 2024, the building is being rehabbed to become the Boulder Garden and indoor rock climbing and bouldering gym.
Montgomery & Aldridge Building
The Montgomery & Aldridge Building is located at 320 Roney Street and includes approximately 22,000 square feet on two levels. This 75 year old brick and beam construction will be renovated for office use in 2020. The building is fully occupied.
Pine State Electric & Lighting Building
The Pine State Electric & Lighting Building was acquired in December 2021. The property is located at 937 Washington Street and includes approximately 10,600 square feet of office and warehouse space. The former Pine State Electric & Lighting Building is now home to another long time downtown Durham company Stone Bros. & Byrd. The property is managed by Measurement Durham LLC and 937 Manager LLC.
