Measurement Durham LLC was founded in 2008 to be a premier developer of office, retail, and residential properties in and around the Durham Central Park District of Downtown Durham, North Carolina.

Development Team:
Dr. Henry H. Scherich provides the corporate management overview for all of Measurement Durham LLC’s projects and activities. He is also the President and Founder of Measurement Incorporated.
Dr. Scherich earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a specialty in Statistics and Measurement from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1975. Dr. Scherich has served on numerous local and national boards including chairing the Durham Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Durham Inc. and others. He has also been the recipient of several awards for leading the renovation and reuse of three historic buildings, the BC Remedy Building, the Brodie Duke Warehouse and the Imperial Building on the Measurement Incorporated campus in downtown Durham.

Drew Medlyn has over twelve years of experience in real estate management and development. Before joining Measurement Durham LLC, Drew served as a regional manager for the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness, as senior economic development manager for the Greenville (SC) Chamber of Commerce and as economic development coordinator for Georgetown County, SC.
Drew grew up in Durham and holds a BA in Economics from Furman University and a Masters of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. He is a former board member of Downtown Durham, Inc., The Historic Preservation Society of Durham and the Furman University Alumni Association. He is also an active member in the Urban Land Institute.
He lives in Durham with his wife and three young children.
Bryan Scherich has a background in fundraising and event planning for non-profits. He has worked as a District Executive and Camp Director for the Old North State Council - Boy Scouts of America in Alamance County NC, and as the Manager of Special Events for Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, Washington DC.
Bryan is a Durham native and holds a BS in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Elon University. He is a former board member of Durham Central Park and a past President of The Durham Lion's Club.
Director of Real Estate
Don Timberlake has 16 years of experience managing facility operations at Measurement Incorporated (MI). Prior to joining MI, he was a facility administrator for a non-profit organization for 18 years.
He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he majored in Communication Studies. He also played five years with the California Angels professional baseball organization. Don grew up in and currently resides in Granville County.
Director of Operations
Nathan Scherich was born and raised in Durham (Riverside High School grad.) and has a BS in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Nathan is working with Measurement Durham on its attainable housing and mixed-use development initiatives. He currently resides in the New York City suburbs with his wife and three young children.
Nathan is a board member of the Palm Arts organization in Telluride, CO, and an active youth soccer coach with the Sleepy Hollow Football Club.
